The College Voice

Awards & Honors

The College Voice has a long tradition as a national leader in the collegiate press. It has been a perennial winner of the Columbia Scholastic Press Association's Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Journalism, Newspaper Design, and Business Operations.

In 1998-99 The College Voice received back-to-back Gold Medals for the Fall and Spring semesters with near-perfect scores.

The 1999 Peterson's "Inside Scoop on College Life" contained no fewer than 8 College Voice articles, U-Wire (The Online University Wire) carried dozens of Voice stories, and many notable articles appeared on USA Today Online in their college section.

The Voice is referenced regularly by New London's The Day and by the Chronicle of Higher Education.
